Time for Tea

Time for Tea - Look at the night-sky for a shape of stars like a teapot!. This shape called an asterism, which is a prominent group of stars that are smaller than a Constellation. To complete the teapot metaphor, under good conditions, a particularly dense area of the Milky Way can be seen rising in a north-westerly arc above the spout, like a puff of steam rising from a boiling kettle. The inspiration for the painting comes from how our spirits can be enriched by enjoying the wonder of the night sky and beauty of the universe – like manna from heaven. The keen eyed amongst you may notice ‘a nod’ to the artist Wayne Thiebaud
